By Daily shuttle bus from Kuala Lumpur To Kuala Tembeling
Jetty
The shuttle bus departs from China Town area and Crowne
Plaza Hotel KL.
Bus stops at Jerantut town before noon to allow passengers
to take their lunch. Then the bus will continue the journey
to Kuala Tembeling Jetty.
Bus Daily Departure Time: 8.00 am (Register at 7.30 am at
in Hotel Mandarin Pacific or Crowne Plaza Mutiara Kuala

By Boat from Kuala Tembeling Jetty to Kuala Tahan in Taman
Negara
Shuttle river buses depart from Jerantut to Kuala Tembeling
Jetty 10km away. From here it is a
scenic 3 hour (approximately) boat ride up the Tembeling
River to the Park's headquarters at
Kuala Tahan.
Boat Daily Departure Times: 9 am / 2 pm except Fridays when
only 1 boat leaves at 2:45pm
Cost: RM25 per person one way

Negara

3 : Self Drive
1.)
For those who driving, nowadays you can selfdrive all the
way to Kuala Tahan via Jerantut. 1. ) For those who are
staying in Mutiara Taman Negara Resort , you can park your
car at Kuala Tahan and take a boat across the river to the
resort. It will only cost you 50 cents per way.
For those who are staying at Rainforest resort, Woodland
Resort , you can drive all the way up to the resort's entrance
cos these two resorts are located in Kuala Tahan, near the
Tahan River. Taman Negara is just across the river.

The Perwira express bus leaves from Pekeliling flat
opposite the Kuala Lumpur Hospital. The journey takes
3.5 hours.
Departure times: 10am/11:30am/3pm/5pm

takes 3.5 hours.

By Train:
The train leaves from Wakaf Bharu. The train station
at Wakaf Bharu is a 6km taxi ride from Kota Bharu.
The journey takes between 9-12 hours.

Cost: Morning train RM12.70 per person one way (3rd
class). Night trains RM17 per person one way (3rd
class)
Singapore
to Jerantut
By Train.
Journey takes 9 hours from Singapore.
Departure times: 5am from Singapore. 6am from Johor
Bahru.

By express train:
Journey takes 7 hours from Singapore.
Departure times: 8:30pm from Singapore. 9:30pm from
Johor Bahru.
